From ee9cf43587d5fef3a0f6d97ef50b8cf848945bcb Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Robin Haberkorn Date: Fri, 23 Aug 2024 04:13:15 +0200 Subject: fully support out of tree builds * You no longer have to copy contrib/scintilla, contrib/scinterm and contrib/lexilla manually to the build directory. * It turns out, that Scintilla/Lexilla was supporting this since 2016. Scintilla allows pointing to a source directory (srdir) and Lexilla to a binary directory (DIR_O). * For Scinterm I opened a pull request in order to add srcdir/basedir variables: https://github.com/orbitalquark/scinterm/pull/21 * `make distcheck` is therefore now also fixed. * The FreeBSD package is now allowed to build out of source. I haven't tested it yet. * See also https://github.com/ScintillaOrg/lexilla/issues/266 --- freebsd/Makefile | 4 +--- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 3 deletions(-) (limited to 'freebsd') diff --git a/freebsd/Makefile b/freebsd/Makefile index 5b52941..94368cf 100644 --- a/freebsd/Makefile +++ b/freebsd/Makefile @@ -27,9 +27,7 @@ USE_GNOME= glib20 GNU_CONFIGURE= yes CONFIGURE_ARGS= -# Out-of-tree builds are broken without special preparation -# (see INSTALL in SciTECO source distribution). -#CONFIGURE_OUTSOURCE=yes +CONFIGURE_OUTSOURCE=yes MAKEFILE= GNUmakefile TEST_TARGET= check -- cgit v1.2.3
